Sheri Davis, Director of the Inland Empire Film Commission, was selected to be honored with the prestigious Trailblazer Award. The Trailblazer Award celebrates someone who has been a leader in his or her field and furthers the recognition of the Location Professional in motion picture and television production.
Davis received this award for her vision of focusing long-overdue attention to the world of film and TV Location Professionals, who play a vital role in the production industry. While championing this cause, Davis was primarily responsible for the creation of the California On-Location Awards (COLA) that annually honors Location Professionals for their work in print, commercials, television and features in the state of California. She continues her tireless efforts to promote filming in California and the Inland Empire.
