The overwhelming need for housing in the Los Angeles community has provided Hollywood for Habitat for Humanity and the LMGA, as its partner, with a unique opportunity to change lives in these neighborhoods. Los Angeles ranks one of the least affordable housing areas in the United States. Cost burden and overcrowding are serious problems. The LMGA is dedicated to making homeownership possible for low-income, hardworking families and individuals not only through our annual donation to Hollywood for Habitat for Humanity but through the sweat of our own members who volunteer for the Build-a-Thon each year, physically building homes for those in need.
