The Location Managers Guild International (LMGI) announces that submissions for the 11th<\/sup> Annual LMGI Awards are now open online, closing on May 6, 2024. The LMGI Awards, set for Saturday, August 24th<\/sup>, spotlight and honor the vital \u00a0role of filming locations in setting tone, revealing character and enhancing the storytelling narrative. Additionally, the LMGI Awards honor film commissions who have gone above and beyond during the scouting, pre-production and production of specific projects.<\/p>\n

The LMGI accepts domestic and international submissions for works that demonstrate the creative contributions of locations to filmed projects.\u00a0There is no fee for submissions. Productions that were first released between\u00a0June 2, 2023, <\/strong>and June 1, 2024,\u00a0<\/strong>with at least 60% of the production shot on location are eligible. <\/strong>Nominations will be announced on Monday, July 1st, and winners are announced at the LMGI Awards on Saturday, August 24th<\/sup>. Submissions are open to LMGI members and non-members alike.\u00a0 There is no fee for entry submissions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
