Welcome to the 11th Annual LMGI Awards!

Tonight, we come together to honor the creativity of our peers who, with their amazing talents and skill, have interpreted a vision in the mind’s eye of a director and transformed words on a page to place all the intricacies of story in the real world. It is our pleasure to have you with us this evening to celebrate the exceptional achievements of all the nominees in film, television, and commercial production from around the globe and recognize others who have made remarkable contributions within the industry.

Our theme this year is “Find Your Place,” and how fitting that we are gathered here at the prestigious Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts, a venue rich in history with an artistic legacy that aligns with our own mission of promoting the creativity we bring to our craft. Located in the heart of Beverly Hills, “The Wallis” has itself been transformed from a historic post office into a vibrant cultural hub dedicated to presenting world-class performances and fostering the artistic growth within the community.

This year, our Honorary Awards will be accepted by individuals whose own remarkable careers, or as representatives of a worthy cause, have significantly impacted our industry.

SLM Sue Quinn/LMGI is the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award. She has worked on some of the most iconic films and television series in an extraordinary career that spans decades. Her unparalleled expertise and commitment to excellence have set a high bar for our profession

We are honored to present the Trailblazer Award to Bill Bowling. Bill’s pioneering spirit inspired a career that combined his location expertise with a love of travel, creating new possibilities for production worldwide. He has been a fierce advocate for our profession and helped expand the places where stories unfold across continents.

The Motion Picture & Television Fund (MPTF) is recognized with this year’s Humanitarian Award. For more than 100 years, the MPFT has delivered services to industry members in need and supports the entertainment community in living and aging with purpose and dignity. During the years of the pandemic and recent labor negotiations, it has truly lived up to its mission statement: “Taking care of our own.”

We are thrilled to be reunited this weekend with our friends from the Association of Film Commissioners International (AFCI). We honor their work providing production support and cutting through red tape with the nominees in the Outstanding Film Commission category. We look forward to a future of collaboration and shared success. Our generous sponsors are invaluable in making this event possible and we are profoundly grateful for their support and assistance.

As we gather at this beautiful and historic venue, let us reflect on the incredible journeys that have brought us here, our shared passion for storytelling and finding our place in an industry filled with endless possibilities.

We hope you enjoy the program and the evening’s festivities with friends and colleagues who have traveled from near and afar to celebrate with us at the Wallis!!

Congratulations to all,
