FAQ


Who can join?

Membership is open to vetted professionals and qualifying team members working in location management and related roles worldwide.

What do I need to apply?
To join the LMGI, you’ll need:

– Professional Membership: 300+ days in the Location Department and listing 2 current LMGI members as references on your application (Name, email address and phone number needed). Annual dues: $135
– Associate Membership: 150+ days in the Location Department with location manager references. (If you’re unsure whether you know LMGI members, we recommend applying as an Associate.) Annual dues: $85

  • A one-time non-refundable $35 application fee applies to all new applications.

How long does approval take?
Approval times vary based on a few factors:
– The LMGI Board of Directors votes on prospective members once per month.
– The time it takes your listed sponsors or references to reply with their statements also impacts timing.

Can I update my profile later?
Yes. Once approved, you can log in and update your profile, including your work areas, credits, and contact information, at any time.
