The Location Managers Guild International (LMGI) Oceania Region is dedicated to representing and supporting career location professionals across Australia, New Zealand, and the wider Pacific. In alignment with the Guild’s global mission, we uphold the highest ethical standards and foster collaboration, creativity, and professionalism within our industry.

Through local commitment and international connection, we strive to:

    • Build strong, transparent relationships between productions, government agencies, businesses, and communities across the Oceania region.
    • Promote awareness of the vital role location professionals play as indispensable creative collaborators in the storytelling process.
    • Advocate for fair, sustainable, and safe practices that reflect the unique cultural and environmental landscapes of our region.
    • Provide opportunities for education, mentorship, and professional development to strengthen and grow the local industry.
    • Showcase the diversity, creativity, and world-class talent of Oceania within the global screen community.

Our intent is to ensure that the voice and contributions of location professionals in Oceania are recognized, respected, and celebrated locally and internationally.
