Rick Schuler has been working in the film industry as a location scout and manager in television commercial and feature films since 1989, and plans on doing so for another decade.
He has worked on such projects as Seven, Fight Club, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, The Social Network, Her, Adaptation and others, but is presently entering the world of long form television scouting for a new HBO TV Series entitled Utopia whose first season will be directed entirely by David Fincher. Schuler is a member of Teamsters Local 399. His goals for the LMGI are to continue to work on aspects of the Awards as well as to facilitate the continued growth and recognition of the organization. He also aspires to have the LMGI concentrate on helping members plan their transition to retirement.
