High above the Sunset Strip, with breath-taking views of Hollywood below, an eclectic group gathered at the Andaz West Hollywood for a raucous evening to benefit the LMGA & Habitat for Humanity.
Bingo Boy, the master of ceremonies, along with the fabulous drag queen Roxy Wood entertained the packed house; while the good people of the Andaz, Location professionals, LMGA business members, industry vendors, FLICS liaisons and friends, joined together to make this event a huge success.
The guest list was a “Who’s Who” of industry luminaries, including the recently-elected 399 Secretary/Treasurer Steve Dayan and his wife Shannon.
Table sponsors included: Plan A Locations, the Pasadena Film Office, Humboldt -Del Norte Film Commission, Skye Rentals, The Location Portal, Chef Robert Catering, Encore Air, Reel Security, Big Sky Ranch and I & J Partnership.
Auction, raffle & bingo prizes were donated by many including: Santa Barbara Film Commission, Mendocino Film Commission, Placer-Lake Tahoe Film Office, San Mateo County Silicon Valley Convention & Visitors Bureau, Creative Handbook, The Edison Downtown, The Location Portal, The Huntington, Board Patrol, Avalon Hotel, Film West Hollywood, Encore Air, Bear Creek Rentals, Terry Gusto and Tony Salome.
Special thanks to everyone who worked together to create this fantastic event; in particular the members of the Philanthropic & Outreach committee chaired by Kristan Wagner and David Lyons; venue by Marylin Bitner, event volunteers Shelly Wilson, Sophia Ochoa, Mike Holmes and Chris Ward; Heather Ross and Lori Balton for spearheading the prizes & auction items along with Adriana Henry and Taline Semerdjian-who also sold raffle tickets; Tom Ybarra for donating tool bags and boa centerpieces; Danny Wilson our photographer, Eric Klosterman our Secretary/Treasurer and Marie Healy the LMGA Administrative Director.
