In Flux: Photographs of Historic Downtown Los Angeles by Michael Britt opens June 1st – 30th, 2014 at the Gloria Delson Contemporary Arts Gallery.

Michael Britt says, “An unusual aspect of this photo collection is that all the images in the show are custom mapped with GPS coordinates so that viewers can visit the locations of the photographs: The technological implications of my chosen medium, the iPhone, both color the scene and situate it in time and place by providing viewers with GPS coordinates to act as an information overlay, mapping points of the exhibition to extend the viewing experience out of the gallery and onto the street.”
