Dorion Thomas began his film production career in Birmingham, Alabama in 1997 as production assistant on local and regional commercials.

In 1999, he moved to Los Angeles and landed a job as a post-production production assistant on MAD TV. After a few years as a production assistant in different capacities, he was hired to work as a location assistant in Marfa, Texas on the Academy Award Nominated film There Will be Blood. After a very long six months in Marfa, Thomas returned to Los Angeles to continue working as a location assistant. His credits include Lions for Lambs, True Blood, Eli Stone and six seasons of NCIS: Los Angeles. He has worked for eight years with former LMGI board member and Location Manager Tony Salome. Thomas proudly joined the LMGI in 2009. He and his wife Irene live in Sherman Oaks with their young son Aaron and two dogs.
