A graduate of UCLA, Edward Mazurek has worked as a Location Manager for twenty-seven years.
He has worked on more than eighty-five feature films, television shows, commercials, and music videos for industry leaders such as Sony Pictures, HBO, Columbia Pictures, 20thCentury Fox, Paramount Pictures, Universal Studios, NBC Productions, Warner Brothers, Amazon Studios and DreamWorks. As part of an advisory group to former Los Angeles Mayor Richard Riordan, the Los Angeles City Council and the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, Mazurek played an important role in creating the Entertainment Industry Development Corporation (EIDC), which later became FilmLA, the non-profit that manages filming in Los Angeles and adjacent communities. He co-founded the first virtual tour film scouting service and co-developed a proprietary internet-based platform to promote and manage filming at some of the most high-profile properties in Los Angeles. Mazurek also worked with Tahiti Tourism of North America and the government of French Polynesia to increase production on the islands. Most recently, he developed, wrote and produced a slate of television commercials for AIG, the world’s largest insurance company.
