Matt is an award-winning independent filmmaker with over twenty years experience in various creative positions. Matt creates his own projects, and works with other creative team members, through conception, story development, fundraising, production, and post-production.

His projects have screened on networks like the CBC (Pay Dirt), he has worked with the National Film Board (GDP), and his feature documentary “Letters From Litein” screened theatrically in Canada.
Matt has worked in locations since 1993 when he started as a location scout on “Legends of the Fall”. Most recently he has worked on shows like “Interstellar”, “Fargo Year 2”, “Wynonna Earp Season 1” and the ABC Mini-Series “When We Rise” in Vancouver. Matt is a member of the Location Managers Guild International, and was nominated for the 2015 LMGI Compass awards for Best Period Locations for the multi-Emmy and Golden Globe Award winning FX series Fargo.
